Disciplines include all aspects of Electrical and Controls Engineering with a unique "Concept to Commission" approach. These areas include Control Systems architecture development, bid package and specification development, detail Engineering and schematic generation, programming, and strong on-site start up support. Some of the more advanced areas of Electrical and Controls Engineering include system integration , Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), routing and tracking systems including RFID and barcoding, Data acquisition systems including FIS, Andon/Quality Alert Systems, and error proofing. We also provide Electrical Engineering support for facilities including power distribution and load planning, lighting, ventilation and networking. Design Systems has created a new technology called Emulation which allows us to debug all of the PLC software using computer technology prior to installation on the plant floor. This technology has helped our client save millions of dollars in start-up costs. Use the pull down menus to the right for more detailed description of each of these services.
