· Manage Site Construction Safety Program
· Review contractor’s safety program
· Review contractor’s Pre-task plan
· Oversee contractor’s safety orientations
· Oversee drug testing program
· Monitor contractor’s safety performance
· Assist with incident investigation & corrective action
· Project Team resource for safety issues
· Create safety portion of contractor information manual
· Participate in safety Buy-off process

Additional Detail:
The Field Safety Resource (FSR) will assist and provide oversite supervision, means and methods not included, on an advisory capacity for General Motors. The duties of the FSR include but are not limited to coaching and enforcement of General Motors special safety conditions, conduct safety audits, perform safety observation tours, incident investigations, review of pre task plans and all safety contract management forms/tools. The FSR will assist the installation manager/installation engineer with additional assignments such as g-comply, g-risks, buy-offs and attend daily huddles to support a successful launch.

Education:

· OSHA Certified (30 hour course)
· Certified Safety Professional (CSP) desired
· Has all necessary Safety Training to meet Federal & State environmental Health & Safety requirements

Preferred Experience:

· Five (5) years experience in Construction management.
· Three (3) years experience in Automotive desired
· Two (2) years experience with General Motors’ projects desired
· Knowledge in GM Safety Contract Management Process

Other:

· Willing to work night or split shift
· Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Power BI (Preferred)
· Autodesk Construction Cloud (Preferred)
